APPRENDRE et VIVRE - BOOKING CONDITIONS
1. When student is abroad the use of motor – cycles is strictly forbidden.
2. Alcohol is strictly forbidden for any student under the age of 18. In case of improper behaviour
APPRENDRE et VIVRE reserves the right to send home any student so behaving. Additionally,
costs arising from such a journey home will have to be paid by participants or their legal
guardians.
3. Once any programme has commenced no money can be refunded if stay is interrupted. If parents
decide not to send their children on return Exchange, this is their decision.
4. In the event of any substantial air fare increases we will have to add a surcharge to our prices.
Also if there is any major currency fluctuations, prices will have to be adjusted accordingly.
5. APPRENDRE Et Vivre acts as an intermediary between the participants and transport companies
& Schools and cannot be held responsible for any delays or strikes or extra costs as a consequence
of these unforeseen events.
6. Places reserved over the telephone will only be held for a limited period if we do not receive a
completed Application Form together with deposit. Places are not secured if balance is not
received by due date stated below.
7. Placement is not guaranteed. We will notify you if we are having difficulty.
9. Complaints: Once a programme has commenced no money can be refunded if stay is interrupted.
Any complaint relating to stay must be communicated to the Local Organiser in the area before
the end of such stay.
Payments
Deposit on all programmes - € 300 (NON REFUNDABLE)
Balance on all programmes must be paid one month prior to commencement.
Payment: All cheques made payable to : APPRENDRE et VIVRE.
Cancellation Fee
- 25% of the total cost less than 4 weeks before departure
- 50% of the total cost less than 15 days before departure
- 100% of the total cost 3 days before departure
Cancellation must be notified by registered letter
Insurance
Our insurance includes: Civil Liability, and Repatriation. All applicants must also apply to their local
Health Board for European Health Card. Students are advised to take out their own Travel Insurance.
- Participating students should be in possession of a Student Card (USIT Aston’s Quay, D2)
and their OWN VALID UP TO DATE PASSPORT..
