APPRENDRE et VIVRE   RULES AND REGULATIONS

(with the family and school)

• You are expected to be well behaved during your stay in France.

• Please interact with your family & keep your bedrooms clean and tidy every day.

• You are not allowed to buy or consume alcohol at any time.

• You are forbidden to take cigarettes, alcohol, or drugs into your bedroom or into the school premises.  Smoking is not allowed on any of our programmes.

• You are forbidden to invite strangers into the house without the permission of the host family and the school.

• You are required to keep to the hours laid down by the family and the school.

• You are not allowed out at night unless on supervised activities

• You are required to keep to the school timetable throughout the whole period of your stay.

• You are not allowed into town or the city on your own unless you are with a member of host family.

• It is strictly forbidden to hitchhike or to take lifts from strangers.

• Appropriate dress code is expected at all times on our Programmes especially while attending school.  Mini skirts, shorts or mini tops are not allowed.

• Body piercing of any kind (except earrings) is not acceptable.

• Mobile phones must be turned off in class.

• The Local French Organiser or Leader in France must be first contacted immediately regarding any complaints by students.  Complaints after the student’s departure will not be considered.

• The student’s parents will be notified immediately of any infringement of the above rules and the matter will be dealt with accordingly.
